Thoughts on Inspiration

I don’t want to be an inspiration. I only want to inspire.

If you exhibit visible MS symptoms then someone, somewhere, sometime may have called you an “inspiration.” I’ve been called worse, but I still don’t like it…

  1. Dear Inspirer, how’s that for a start? Lots of smiles, and LOL.

You are an incredible human being, Mitch, one of the best. But, I should remind you that your wife and infallible caregiver, Kim, ranks way above that.

What am I drinking? Well, certainly not holy water. Coffee, lots of coffee.

    1. Roger, as I like to say, “I’ve been called worse!” LOL

And you are correct. If there’s anyone who deserves high praise, it is Kim.

Enjoy your coffee, and thanks for stopping by to comment.

  2. Mitch,

I think of you often and wonder if you are still enjoying the ride. I am on the same path you are but I’m both 10 years older as well as not as far along. So what do I have to complain about? Several years ago we had to more than double the size of our house to accommodate my power chair. At least we could afford it as well as an overhead lift, adjustable bed and a whole house generator to keep it all going. I started having Ocravous infusions and they seem to be slowing down the progression a bit. I wish I could have started them many many years ago when I could at least stand a bit or ride in a regular car. Have you tried it? It is incredibly expensive but my insurance covers it.

Kim is totally a hero and inspiration as is my husband, Tom. I always think that I have no choice in this but he could leave at any time. Instead he makes the choice every day to love and take care of me. So amazing, wonderful and lucky for you and me.

Keep enjoying the ride as much as possible.
    Celeste
