Novartis is offering a $250,000 prize to fund the development of pioneering innovation with great potential in advancing Assistive Tech for Multiple Sclerosis. Applications will be accepted until January 10, 2020, and the winners will be announced during a panel discussion among experts in the field at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
As many of you know, I’ve taken a great interest in innovative technology that makes my life with MS better. My friend Kate Milliken nominated me to be an expert contributor to the judging panel for this contest, and I accepted. I can’t wait to see the entries.

The deadline is 2 days away!
where has it been advertised?
Are there any guidelines??
Can the deadline be extended?
I would like to submit this RFP to the engineering students at the University of Michigan but they need more than one day.
Linda, the deadline has been extended until January 17.
Unfortunately the deadline is firm. My bad For not getting this post out sooner.
I submitted! I would be very curious to know how many other entries are from people living with MS. Hope you got lots of entries! Thank you for participating! I’m so excited for this!

I said participating but I meant participating as a judge! It’s comforting to know that people with MS such as yourself are going to be on the panel!
p.s. – glad to have found your blog! I found it by doing a google search of Novartis Innovation Prize.
Elizabeth, I’m glad we have connected. Good luck in the contest!
