3i Home — My Personal Ask for Giving Tuesday

I am proud to serve as a Board member with 3i HoME, a non-profit on a mission to effect real change for our families, friends, and colleagues living with disabilities. My passion for this project is one of the things that gets me up and out of bed each morning.

As we prepare to begin construction of this first of its kind project in Maine, I invite you to support 3i HoME’s Giving Tuesday campaign. Every dollar raised will go toward the necessary technology to build universally designed, totally accessible, supportive housing that will serve as a model for Maine and beyond.

As many of you know, I already live in a house packed with assistive technology (see below). But, in the world of people with mobility disabilities, I am the exception. I should be the rule.

  1. Mitch: Thank you for bringing your “A Game” to the 3i HoME project! With the enthusiasm and expertise you and the other 3i board members and advisors bring to our brain sessions, we are now poised to implement our vision of accessible and affordable housing plus services — Independent living through Innovative Technology in an Integrated community based setting in southern Maine. 2022 will be a defining “groundbreaking” year! Donations obtained from #GivingTuesday November 30th will be put to good use as we focus on the technology component of our project as detailed in your post. With profound gratitude, Paul Linet, President, 3i Housing of Maine

  2. Paul, it has been an honor serving beside you on the board of 3i Home. Your vision, leadership, and drive, with a little help along the way, is going to make a huge difference in the lives of people with disabilities in southern Maine.

  3. Such a noble cause. Everyone who is able should consider this as a wonderful gift to those less fortunate, in so many ways.

  4. Carole, thank you very much. But, as you know, I wouldn’t be half as amazing if I hadn’t married your daughter!
