I was recently asked to give a talk at a TEDx event at Cape Elizabeth High School. Of course, I couldn’t do it without Kim, who became the star of the show!

Love reading your stuff and seeing the videos. You’re so funny, and smart! I do enjoy my smart plugs/devices at home, but my goal is to eventually own an ibot!! 😍Please pass along a Happy Mother’s Day greeting to your amazing wife! ❤️
Thank you for all you do. I admire you for your energy that you bring to your situation and the help that you give to others. And thank you for all the help you’ve given me on my journey with progressive MS.
Hans, thanks for your kind words, and thanks for sticking with me all these years. So glad I have been a help.
Laura, thanks so much for your kind comments. Send me an email if you’re serious about getting an iBOT. email@mitchsturgeon.com
Very cool, Mitch!
Thanks, Mark.
Releasing the Ted talk on Mother’s Day weekend with recognition to Vernice and Kim. 👍👍 Very well done my friend!
Paul, it is nice how it worked out, isn’t it? Two incredible mothers.
Like your mom Mitchy, you also are an inspiration. Kim is a true angel on earth. Thank you both for sharing your story with all of us. Wonderful video.
Betsy, thanks for your kind words. My journey has certainly been made easier by the company I’ve kept 🙂
Yes, Mitch, a very happy Mother’s Day to your wonderful wife. Very inspiring, fascinating talk; thanks so much for much for sharing so much of your life. Roger😎
Roger, I have become a bit of an open book, haven’t I? Thanks for all your support.
You and your wife are awesome. Bless you both. My son Jimmy is bedridden with MS at 55 years old. Praying for a cure for all!
Laverne, sending good thoughts to your son Jimmy…
Mitch, you are such a freaking inspiration. I often use your story to inspire others in our world to always “think differently” when they see a dead end.
You truly and constantly break down those thoughts.
Thank you for this wonderful presentation.
Joe and MJ, glad you liked the presentation, and I am humbled that my story is helpful.
Great talk & awesome to see the ibot in action. I have my eye on that if/when I have a need. And nice to share w/young ppl-I’ve found that kids & young ppl are supportive & interested when I show them my Alinker walking bike-my biggest fans!
Rita, great to hear from you. I agree about the young people. It’s so encouraging to see them take an interest in assistive technology.
Congratulations! This looks so good! (Tell Mrs. Sturgeon Happy Mothers Day 🙂
Grace, Kim and I so enjoyed working with you on the Ted talk. You have a very bright future! (Mrs. Sturgeon says thank you)
That was really great Mitch. Well done.
Thanks, Dave. It was fun.
Excellent talk, Mitch, thanks. I have PPMS too and a partner who somehow still loves me and helps me with everything. We are so lucky.
Diane
Diane, indeed, having a supportive partner makes all the difference. We are so fortunate.
Just wonderful, Mitch. Kim is a gem, beyond all measure.
Sandra, you have that right. Kim is amazing!
Hi Mitch, I am a good friend of Paulana’s.
We walk twice a week together.
She has told me a lot about you but I am finally getting to meet you.
What a blessing you are to all who know you.
You are a genius, you were put here on earth to make life better & easier for people with many kinds of disabilities. Such a gift really.
I worked as an RN for many years & have seen all kinds of health problems. Your wife is doing a stellar job. Sincerely
Joyce Jordan…Santa Barbara
Joyce, so nice to hear from you! Please tell my favorite cousin that I miss her!
Hi Mitch. Great presentation.
Jim Minnucci (Maxwell Q.)
Jim, what a blast from the past! Thanks for checking in. Good to hear from you.
When we first met at Dr. Manaker’s little get-together at Paradise I was happy and somewhat surprised at how well I was received into the already well-established team. You made that transition easy. When you and I were walking around the facility one day and you matter-of-factly told me of your new challenge I had no clue of the whys and wherefores of the disease. I now realize that your reason to be was not to clean up dirty air (as mine continued to be until retirement) but to truly impact the lives of others who aren’t in a position to help themselves. You have been dealt a life-changing event that is to the benefit of so many others. I’m happy and richer as a person to have known you. Congrats!!
What was that TVA project manager’s full name? I’ve been wracking my brain for about 10 years trying to remember that.
Jeff, I have fond memories of our time on the Paradise project. Thanks for reaching out today.
Wonderful presentation Mitch! Thank you for sharing. Your message that challenges are opportunities just waiting for solutions is so inspiring and spot on. All the best to you & Kim and good luck with the 3i Housing project!
Mike,
Thanks for your kind words. It’s great to hear from you.
